At 313 Detroit Pizza, we’re not just about bringing authentic Detroit-style pizza to Glasgow—we’re about honoring everything that makes the 313 legendary. And when it comes to Detroit, that means music.
That’s why we’re launching Radio 313—our brand-new weekly event, celebrating the sounds of Detroit every Saturday from 12PM. From Motown to Techno, from Funk to House, we’ll be spinning the tracks that shaped a city and changed music forever.
Starting in March, we’ll be turning our pizza spot into a Detroit-inspired music hub every weekend, and we’re looking for DJs who love and appreciate the 313 to come along, play their favorite records, and be part of something special.
Why Detroit? Why Music? Why 313?
Detroit isn’t just the birthplace of Detroit-style pizza—it’s the birthplace of some of the most influential music movements in history.
🎵 Motown – The sound that defined soul, gave us legends like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and The Supremes, and put Detroit on the musical map.
🎧 Techno – A genre that emerged from the city’s underground, pioneered by Juan Atkins, Derrick May, and Kevin Saunderson, and still fuels dance floors worldwide.
🎸 Garage Rock, Jazz & Hip-Hop – From The White Stripes to J Dilla, Detroit’s influence stretches across every genre, and its raw, soulful energy can be felt in every beat.
Just like Detroit, Glasgow has its own deep love for music. With a club scene that rivals anywhere in the world and a rich history of live music, this city understands the power of sound. So we’re bringing the two together, every single Saturday.
